| How to use your Infrared EM-Pillow? |
Preparation before using
Two ways to supply power( it is suggested that you use adaptor as much as possible)
- Using adaptor for power supply
Opten the plastic cover at the back of the the Infrared Pillow, get out the hand - controller, connect the DV plug with the inner outlet while insert the AC plug into the AC power socket. Draw the down - lead from the side hole and close the back cover.
Then you can use it now.
- Using Nickel-Hydrogen rechargeable battery for poer supply |
- open the plastic vover at the back of the pillow, get out the hand controller, open the battery cover and then install 4 PCS of Nickel- Hydrogen rechargeable batteries according to the drawing on the back of the cover.
- Inspect whether the battery are installed peoperly.
Turn the battery power switch to the position of "ON " as showed by the drawing. Press the " On/Off " key on the hand controller. If the screen flashes, it proves that the batteries are installed properly.
- The battery should be charged for more than 2 hours by adaptor.
- The battery switch should be turned to the position "Off " in case that the batteries are not used for a long time. In this position, it can be charged.

Battery charge:
In case that the adaptor is inserted into the AC power socket, the battery will be charged automatically even if the battery switch is "Off". The battery should be charged for more than 10 hours the first time it is used, When using the batteries to supply power, if the left down corner of the controller flashes the pattern of "  " accompanied by 5 beeps and then closed instantly, this means that the power of the batteries is not enough and the batteries can only be used until they are charged for more than 2 hours. |

How to operate the Infrared Pillow controller
1. Turn on/off , change of functions
Turn on: Press the "on / off " button to turn on the instrument.
Turn off: Press the "on/off " botton continuously for more than 2 seconds and then release it.
Change of function:
The function will change every time when you press the " on / off " button
2.Working function ( choose only one every time)
The frame will stop at function "Auto" when you turn on the controller; Press "on/ off " key and you will choose any one of the four function " Auto ", " Mode " , " Heat ", "Mode"+" Heat ". |

| "Auto" Function |
Press "ON/OFF" button and turn on the Infrared Pillow,, the frame will stay at "Auto" function and the screen will display" " while you sense treatment. The digital figure at the middle of the screen will start contdown 15 minutes. the figure showing the intensity will flash"01".By press key "+", you can increase the output intensity to a proper degree. One minute later, a figure " " will be shown on the screen which means that far infrared ray thermal moxibustion is going on . Later treatment and thermal moxibustion will work alternatively until the time ends. |

| "Mode" Function |
| When the frame stays at "Mode" function, the intensity figure will flash continuously.By pressing button "+" or "-", you can increase or decrease the intensity. If you press " Mode / Intensity " = " M / l "button at this function, the figure at left down corner will flash and you can choose 1-9 treatment mode by press button "+" or "-". |

| "Heat" Function |
When the frame stays at " Heat " function it will start thermal therapy solely. The digital figure showing time on the screen will start countdown 15 minutes.
When the frame stays at both " Mode " and " Heat " functions, it will start treatment and thermal moxibustion at the same time and the intensity figure will flash continuously. Then you can shoose the intensity by pressing button " + " or " - ". In this status, press button "M/I", the figure at the left down corner will flash and you can press button "+ " or "-" to choose 1-9 pattern |

| Infrared Em-Pillow Operating Procedure |
- Place the Infrared Pillow on a flat bed in a good treatment environment.
Insert the adaptor into an AC power socket while put the DC plug into the outlet at the bottom of the pillow.
- Clean neck sikin with a wet amd warm towel and lie down on your back slowly as per the picture. Then put your head on the pillow and extend your head back wards as much as opssible . Turn your neck left and right gently to ensure that neck skin can fully touch the electrode. Relax your body completely.
- Selecting suitable function by the controller.

| Preservation after using |
- Turn off the power or charge the battery after the treatment is completed.
The Infrared Pillow will be turned off the power automatically after 15 minutes, If you do not pull out the DC plug, the battery will never supply power and the adaptor will charge the batteries continually. If you pull out the DC plug from the outlet, the battery switch should be turned to position "OFF".
- Maintenance after using
Preservation of controller: Place the Infrared Pillow at the bottom box as done when it is dispatched from the factory.
Preservation of adaptor: pull out the DC plug and cover the tow metal feet of the adaptor with the plastic covers attached when it is dispatched from the factory. This will prevent it from damnifying the PU pillow.
Preservation of PU pillow: Turn the battery switch to positon. "OFF", cover the bottom cover, wipe the two electrode with a clean wet cloth, place it in the air for 2-3 minutes and finally put the pillow into a handbag.

Cautions state clearly the damages and loses that might be caused by improper use of the buyer. So, it is vital that you abide by the rules strictly.
Danger: Please never use the pillow together with other electronic apparatuses such as:
- Embeded electronic medical apparatuses such as pulse adjuster.
- Electronic medical apparatuses used to maintain life such as artificial heart and pacemaker etc.
- Electronic medical apparatuses such as heart electro-cardio counter. It will probably cause danger if the pillow is used together with the above electronic medical instruments.
Warning: Please consult with doctors before using in following cases:
- Person who has serious disease such as tumour, heart attack and high blood pressure etc.
- Patients with skin sensing obstacle or abnormal skin.
- Pregnant woman and children.
Other wise, it will cause accident or malfunction.
Attention:
Please take down metal articles such as necklaces from your neck. Otherwise, short circuit will occur at the left and right electrode and thus affect the using of the instrument. |
