Multiple Electronic Acupunctoscope - G6805-2 |
Built on the basis of traditional factory products, such as the 6805-2 Electro Acupuncture Apparatus, this redesigned, new-generation instrument is a multi-purpose device which incorporates in various aspects the features of the domestic and foreign products of the same kind.
In line with the channel theory of Traditional Chinese medicine, this health device utilizes electric pulse stimulation on acupuncture points to treat various diseases and induce both anesthetic and analgesic effects. Its clinical application in a number of hospitals and institutes has shown a marked effect on relieving and curing such diseases as sciatic neuralgia, facial paralysis, traumatic paralysis, lumbago and other peripheral neuroparalysis, cholecystitis, gallstone, schizophrenic auditory hallucination, neurotic depression, obsession, hysteria, intractable insomnia, etc. |

FUNCTION AND THERAPEUTIC THEORY |
FEATURES |
Electronic Acupunctoscope G6805-2
|
|
| 1. Analgia: The pulse stimulation emitted by this device excites the thick nerve fibers, inhibiting the transmission of pain sensation through the thin nerve fibres and exerting a mutual inhibition in the pain sensation centre, thus making it impossible for the user to consciously feel pain. It possesses the inhibiting function on different pain symptomscaused by various reasons as pain sensation transmits mostly through the thin nerve fibers. |
1. Electric-pulse stimulation on acupuncture points for therapy, needle electrodes inducing anaesthesia, and non-traumatic therapy using soft rubber, high-magnetism and lead plate electrodes.
2. Output safety device and an alternative of high or low outputs. Either intensified outputs (1 + 2) and (3 + 4) may be used.
3. Meter indication of operating frequency, meter indication of voltage range of the battery.
4. Timer function: automatic cut-off and music at the end of therapy.
5. Point-detection: judging from the meter indication and corresponding music sounds.
6. AC/DC operatable: once AC is connected, the DC is automatically cut off. |
| 2. Anti-inflammation: Regardless of bacterial or nonbacterial inflammation, the effects of pulse stimulation on a nerve-fluid system can promote leucocytes release, strengthen its activity, regulate immunity, improve circulation and accelerate absorption and tissue repair of the blood capillary during open wound injuries, to reduce swelling and relieve pain. |
| 3. Anti-spasm: lschemic pain and colic pain may develop when muscle spasms in the visceral blood vessels appear. However, the pulse stimulation of the device is capable of removing both spasms and pain by way of nerve reflection. |
| 4. Sedation: Moderate pulse stimulation through the neuroreceptors of the body surface can protect the cerebral cortex by inhibiting and sedating. |
5. Regulation: Pulse stimulation on acupuncture points provides functional regulation of the cerebral cortex and subcortex vegetative nervous centre, thus causing neurofluid inhibition.

| INDICATIONS |
| The electro-stimulation generated by this device enters through all the channels of the human body, thus having both multiple medical effects and a great variety of applications, as in ancient Chinese acupuncture. The following lists the most common ailments which will be treated:
1. Nervous system: trigeminal neuralgia, neurotic headache, sciatic neuralgia, peripheral facial paralysis and palsy, enuresis, etc.
2. Digestive system: gastralgia, cholecystitis, biliary colic, functional disturbance of gastro-intestine, allergic colitis, etc.
3. Cardiovascular system: primary hypertension and stroke sequala.
4. Respiratory system: bronchial asthma, etc.
5. Motor system: soft tissue strain, rheumatic and rheumatoid arthritis, tendovaginitis, cervical velbebral systems, etc.
6. Psychical system: schizophrenic auditory hallucination, obsession, hysteria, intractable insomnia, behavioral disorders due to schizophrenia complicated by mental retardation, delayed motor disturbance caused by psychical drugs, neurotic depression, etc.
7. Others: spurious myopia, toothache, dysmen-orrhear, prostatitis, etc. |

| OPERATING DIRECTION |
1. Locating points: doctors should locate body points and areas relevant to the disease and diagnosis by referring to the introduction of point selection in this manual, or according to the standard acupuncture chart. Points can also be located by pressing local focus and tender point or by means of detecting electrodes.
2. Selecting electrodes: acupuncture needles are more suitable for the four limbs, thick subcutaneous tissues, head and other hair-covered areas as well. For ear points, a pair of high-magnetism electrodes may be used at anterior and posterior parts of the auricle to clamp the ear by mutual attraction. Rubber electrodes (plus little electricity-conducting glue) or high-magnetism electrodes can be applied to any other parts of the body. Upon locating points, use disposable medical and sticky film to fix aforementioned electrodes to the treatable areas, connecting the crocodile clips to start treatment. Moisten the lead-plate electrodes with normal saline and place them to the required areas for the treatment.
3. Turn intensity selectors 1, 2, 3 & 4 to the "OFF" position. In general, ( 1 + 2 ) and ( 3 + 4 ) buttons should be turned separately to ( 1.2 ) and (3.4) positions. The 60 or 100V intensity levels may be set according to output intensity requirement.
4. Turn the waveform selector to the required waveform position.
5. Insert required output plugs to the output jacks and connect them with their respective electrodes or needles.
6. Adjust the timer or set time, then adjust the frequency button and slowly adjust the corresponding intensity button to the extent where patients feel comfortable. |
| 7. Turn on intensity buttons (1 + 2) and (3 + 4) when extremely strong stimulation is needed. (1 + 2) is the intensified voltage; 1 and 2 intensity selectors should be adjusted respectively and gradually by using (1 + 2) output jack. (3 + 4) is the intensified voltage; 3 and 4 intensity selectors should be adjusted in the same way to the suitable intensity by using (3 + 4) output jack.
8. Detecting points: turn waveform selector to the "DETECT" position, and insert the plug of the point-detecting electrode. With the hand-holding electrode held in the patient's hand, the doctor or patient locates the points or point areas by moving the point-probing electrode according to the acupuncture chart, and stopping at the points or point area at which maximum meter indication and highest loudspeaker sound appear.
9. Battery examination: turn the meter switch to "BATT" and in case of the meter needle in "G" range, it shows the battery is normal; in "R" range, it shows that the batteries should be changed.
10. AC power: the voltage on the name plate stuck at the back cover of the device is the operating voltage (220V or 110V) set by the factory. The correct AC power supply should be connected according to the requirement when used. The factory is responsible for any alteration of the operating voltage if necessary. If so, the operating voltage indicated on the nameplate should also be changed. |
